We love these Japanese made Goot 100W soldering irons. They actually only draw 38 watts so are extremely energy efficient as the heat output is equivalent to a 100 watt conventional iron. And it really is hot! They are very quick to heat too thanks to their ceramic element and have proven very reliable.
This one comes with a 5mm tip which is Nickle plated so doesn’t corrode away. It is big enough for most jobs but small enough for the fiddly stuff.
